We were so excited to work with a brand new artist here at Doomlings! Nate Bear created our newest Special Edition card: Age of Luck! 

Nate Bear is an illustrator and character designer from New Jersey with a lifelong love of characters that feel alive — bold, expressive, and a little bit strange. Inspired by golden-age illustration and Saturday morning cartoons, his style blends vibrant color with anarchic cartoon energy that has brought characters to life for brands such as DreamWorks, GIPHY, Adweek, and Disney. His work has appeared across animation, editorial features, collector prints, and limited-edition releases. Every piece leads with personality — the kind that makes you want to know a character's whole backstory the moment you see them. When he's not working with major brands, he's designing art and collectibles under his BEARBRAINS imprint.

It was a blast working with Nate to create the Age of Luck Card! First, he gave us so many incredible idea sketches that we struggled to pick from. They were all SO GOOD!

Then, we had him work through a series of revisions until we were ready to have him fully ink it!
